Licensed Acupuncturist (Part-Time) – Immediate Patients + Flexible Schedule

Location: Gahanna / New Albany (Columbus, OH)
Type: Independent Contractor
Pay: 50% per patient + Introductory Earnings Guarantee

Start Seeing Patients Right Away—Without Building From Scratch

Nu Wave Acupuncture is a growing, patient-centered clinic with an active waitlist for new acupuncture patients. We’re looking for a licensed acupuncturist to join our team and help meet demand. Most practitioners can expect to begin with a consistent flow of patients based on their availability, with opportunities to grow quickly.

This role is ideal if you want:

  • A steady stream of patients from day one

  • Flexibility in how and when you work

  • The ability to build your own style of practice within a supportive clinic

What You’ll Do

  • Provide acupuncture treatments (pain relief, fertility, women’s health, wellness)

  • Offer additional modalities like cupping, gua sha, or moxibustion (or learn—we’re happy to support training)

  • Create personalized treatment plans

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with patients

What Makes This Role Unique

  • Immediate patient flow (no need to start from zero)

  • Flexible scheduling (1–3 days/week to start)

  • Control over your treatment style and services offered

  • Freedom to structure your day your way, for example:

    • Two patients per hour with built-in breaks

    • One patient per hour

    • Or a flow that matches your energy and clinical style

This is a great fit if you want something more supportive than renting a room, but more flexible than a traditional employee role.

Compensation & Growth Path

  • 50% per patient (negotiable based on experience and structure)

  • Introductory earnings guarantee (to support your ramp-up period)

  • Clear growth path, including:

    • Building a full schedule within the clinic

    • Option to transition into a rent-based model over time if desired

What You’ll Get

  • Built-in patient demand + waitlist

  • Fully equipped, professional clinic space

  • Front desk support and established systems

  • A collaborative, wellness-focused team environment

  • The ability to grow your own patient base at your pace

Qualifications

  • Active Ohio Medical Board acupuncture license

  • NCCAOM/NCBAHM Board certified

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine

  • Strong communication and patient-centered care skills

New grads and experienced practitioners are both encouraged to apply.
