Yvonne Woodson, Licensed Acupuncturist, Diplomate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (formerly NCCAOM, now NCBAHM), is a compassionate and highly experienced Acupuncturist whose approach to healing is rooted in both extensive clinical experience and a deep belief in treating the whole person. With more than 40 years experience in the healthcare profession, Yvonne brings a unique perspective to her work, combining her background as an RN with the ancient healing traditions of acupuncture and Eastern medicine to specialize in women’s health and pain management.
Yvonne was a Registered Nurse (RN) for 30 years before becoming an Acupuncturist. Throughout her career in healthcare, Yvonne developed a deep understanding of the connection between the body, mind, and spirit. Her desire to look beyond symptoms and understand the deeper causes of imbalance led her to acupuncture, where she discovered a powerful and holistic way to support her patients’ health and well-being. Today, she brings together her Western medical training and Eastern healing practices to create a personalized approach for each person she serves.
Yvonne’s extensive acupuncture training sets her apart, with expertise in several specialized disciplines, including the classical art of Five Element acupuncture, Non-Invasive Toyohari acupuncture, Trauma acupuncture, Orthopedic acupuncture, and the Mei Zen™ Cosmetic Acupuncture System.
Whether supporting women’s health, addressing pain and orthopedic concerns, working with the effects of trauma, or helping clients look and feel their best through cosmetic acupuncture, Yvonne’s goal is to create a space where healing can unfold naturally.
With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Acupuncturist, continued education in the field, and a genuine passion for helping others, Yvonne offers a refreshingly holistic approach to health and healing. Her practice is not simply about treating a condition, it is about listening, understanding, and helping each person reconnect with their own capacity for balance, wellness, and vitality.
