We are a growing acupuncture and wellness clinic in Gahanna, Ohio, seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. This position offers flexibility — available as either an employee role or room rental agreement, depending on your preference, experience, and clientele.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient service. This role is essential in helping clients achieve their wellness goals through effective pain management and relaxation techniques. The Massage Therapist will work closely with clients to assess their needs and tailor treatments accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.

  • Provide a range of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to address specific client concerns.

  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective treatments.

  • Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes, using appropriate medical terminology.

  • Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices for ongoing wellness.

  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and organization within the treatment area.

  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients.

  • Collaborate with other health professionals as needed to support comprehensive patient care.

Experience

  • Proven experience in massage therapy, with a strong background in pain management techniques.

  • Familiarity with occupational health practices is preferred.

  • Experience in a medical spa setting is a plus but not required.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on patient service and customer satisfaction.

  • Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Ohio

  • Training/experience in one or more of the following:

  • Deep Tissue Massage

  • Trigger Point Therapy

  • Craniosacral Therapy

  • Lymphatic Drainage

  • TMJ-focused Massage

  • Pregnancy/women's health

  • Professional, compassionate, and motivated to support patients’ health and healing

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a wellness-focused environment
